Hello glorious backers!
Thank you for continuing to support this campaign! We are currently over 75% funded after the first week. That's tremendous! Thank you so much for making all of this possible! Please continue sharing this campaign! Also, if you have ever played Wu Wei, please leave a comment on our campaign and let people know about your experience. If you've never played, tell us why you decided to back the campaign!
I'm planning more events in the Los Angeles area right now. In fact, I will be at Emerald Knights in Burbank on Wednesday and Thursday night (6PM - 11PM) this week demonstrating Wu Wei and hopefully filming a couple more sessions. Here's the website for this amazing shop: http://www.ekcomicsandgames.com/
Please come down and join me if you can!
This has been an epic journey and I felt compelled to share that with the Kickstarter Staff and now I'd like to share that message with you!

Greetings Kickstarter Staff!
Three years ago I launched a Kickstarter campaign for a martial arts themed board game called LINEAGE. Kickstarter flagged this campaign as one of the "Projects We Love". That support really helped to keep my campaign going. Unfortunately, I was not able to overcome the inertia of a slow start and my campaign finished without being funded.
For the last three years I've been working for a board game manufacturing company learning everything I can about the process of making games. In fact, I managed several funded Kickstarters and helped to deliver their promised games to backers!
I spent a considerable amount of time refining and revising my game. The title changed to Wu Wei: Journey of the Changing Path. I added refined components and new artwork. I created three levels of play so people would have an easier time learning the rules.
While all of this board game alchemy was happening, I continued to train in Kung Fu and Tai Chi. In the six years since I started working on this game, I went from a beginning student without a belt to a black belt instructor in Kung Fu and Tai Chi. In many ways, this game is a direct reflection of my experience.
I will not give up. This game will be made.
I hope you will consider shining a spotlight on my game again. My new campaign for Wu Wei: Journey of the Changing Path persists in the spirit of independent gaming and in the true spirit of Kickstarter. The game also serves as a road map for joining the martial arts community and exploring concepts from Taoism. Wu Wei means "Align with nature. Embrace effortless action. Do without doing." and acknowledgement of these necessary principles is sorely lacking in our world today. I hope you can open your hearts to this new campaign and continue on this journey with us!
Thank you for your consideration and don't forget to play wu wei!
Best,
Justin

Undead Viking Videos Review

Hey there backers!
Lance Myxter (Undead Viking) just dropped a review for Wu Wei: Journey of the Changing Path. Here's what he had to say: "Wu Wei presents the players with fun and interesting choices and it has a very open feel to it. I never felt hemmed in. I felt like I was on a journey with my student and master but I never felt like a had to go on a certain path. And ultimately, is the game fun? Yeah! It is a lot of fun! If you are a fan of the martial arts world and clever path finding games you should check this out." Check out Lance's review below.
I just have to say, my favorite part is at the end of the video where he talks about his daughter going to Tae Kwon Do class and how the game led to conversations about class and how the principles of martial arts were reflected in the game. That's exactly what I'm hoping this game will do for other folks. Super cool.
As always, thank you for me on this journey!
Best, Justin

Howdy Backers!
We are over 50% funded!!! Thank you so much for being such a big part of this journey!
Today is the last day of the Early Bird Special! Please tell your friends and spread the word! It is vitally important that the campaign reaches its funding goal of $24,000 as soon as possible. If we can get to that number quickly there's a chance that we can get a lot more funding!
Please continue to share this campaign with people that you know! Wu Wei cannot succeed without your help. If we can build enough momentum, we can get funded and start working on stretch goals!
Thanks again! It's been an amazing journey making this game and so far the Kickstarter campaign has been incredible. It really means a lot to have your help. Let's help everyone out there play Wu Wei!
